Odalis Chavez (b. 1991, Peru) is a Montreal-based artist specialized in nude photography. Passionate about human anatomy and the expressive power of the body, her work focuses on showcasing the body in its full splendor—highlighting detail, form, and beauty.
Over the years, through numerous projects, she has discovered the narrative richness that this genre offers. While many associate nude photography with erotic or pornographic content, Odalis emphasizes that there are many categories within the genre, each with its own language and intention.
The photographs presented here are part of ongoing personal projects developed over the years. Although most feature female models, male participation is always welcome.
More recently, Odalis expanded her creative toolkit by studying makeup artistry at All Skin, a Peruvian institute founded by makeup artist Solange Rivera. For her, makeup is another powerful means of conveying emotion and atmosphere. She now combines both photography and makeup in her creative process.

Odalis Chavez (Perú, 1991) es una joven artista, dedicada a la fotografía de desnudos, apasionada por la anatomía humana y la expresión corporal. Reside en la ciudad de Montreal, Canada. Le interesa mostrar al cuerpo en su máximo esplendor, resaltar detalles y embellecer los cuerpos humanos.
En el 2010 se tuvo el primer acercamiento con fotografías de desnudos y tras realizar algunos proyectos se dio cuenta de la riqueza que tienen estas fotografías para contar historias.
Muchas personas creen que los desnudos son básicamente contenido erótico y pornográfico, pero en realidad hay varias categorías y cada una de ellas tiene sus características. Las fotografías que son expuestas en esta página son proyectos personales que se ha ido trabajando en el transcurso de los años.
No hace mucho, decidió incursionar en el ámbito de maquillaje, estudiando la carrera de un año en el instituto peruano All Skin, fundador por la maquilladora Solange Rivera. En el maquillaje encontró otra herramienta para transmitir emociones y sensaciones. Por lo tanto, actualmente se encuentra combiando el maquillaje y la fotografía.
Behind the skin(detrás de la piel) es un espacio donde se muestra los pasos que se realiza para crear una sesión fotográfica. Incluyendo el moodboard, un collage que ayuda a plasmar la idea, este es enviado a cada modelo para saber si le gustaría ser partícipe. Una breve descripción del concepto o inspiración, y por último el esquema de iluminación utilizado. Finalmente, el producto final que son las fotografías que se entregan a las modelos.
