"Neon
Sweat" was named for this project after seeing the result of the
photographs , the way of how the paint was sliding on the body of the model
helped for the inspiration. We used all the neon colors that we had, although
it was a little difficult to have the result we wanted because of the thickness
of the product, so we asked for help to the model. She needed to move little by
little to make the paint fall.
We placed the
paint in several parts of the body and as soon as we had the result we wanted,
we started with the photo shoot. The lines helped to give dynamism to the body
and also we are playing with the optical illusion making the eye fill the
spaces in black.
Three
ultraviolet lights were used, two were placed in light stands and the third one
was placed on the floor. We worked with a slow speed, this is why we used a
tripod.
El nombre de “Neon Sweat” lo puse tras ver el resultado de las fotografías de cómo la pintura estaba deslizándose por el cuerpo de la modelo. Se utilizaron todos los colores neones que se tuvieron a la mano, al ser un poco espeso el producto fue necesario que la modelo ayudara a que la pintura caiga torciendo un poco el cuerpo. No se puso más líquido el producto puesto que se corría peligro que no brillará tanto con las luces neones.
Se fue colocando a pocos la pintura y esperando que cayera poco a poco, cuando se tuvo el resultado que se quería se comenzó con la sesión fotográfica. Las líneas ayudaban a dar dinamismo al cuerpo y también se trabaja con la ilusión óptica haciendo que entre sombras y líneas vayas rellenando los espacios en negro.
Se utilizaron tres luces ultravioletas, dos se colocaron con parantes y la tercera estuvo en el piso. Se trabajo con velocidad lenta y trípode.
