Los Hilos

There are legends that speak of a red thread that connects us to another person.
But what if we have more than one thread? what if many threads define us?

This photo session was born from the idea of using neon lights, ut as always, there’s a concept behind my photographs.
The thinness of the lights reminded me of the legend of the thread of life. But I like to believe that we are not defined by a single thread. Instead, we carry a whole skein—threads that unravel as we grow.
Some may be linked to past lives, to powerful friendships, to defining moments, or even to our deepest passions.

And so, we weave—or unweave—these threads through our choices and actions.

This session is the first inspired by that concept, but there will be a second part, featuring two models.
For lighting set, a low speed was used with the help of a tripod. Just a snoot flash directed at the model's face.

Existen leyendas que hablan del hilo rojo que nos ata con otra persona. Pero qué sucede si tenemos más hilos que nos definen?

Esta sesión fotografía nació de la idea de utilizar luces neon pero como siempre tengo un concepto detrás de mis fotografías. Al ser las luces tan finas, me hizo acordar a la leyenda del hilo de la vida. Pero me gusta creer que no solo tenemos un hilo que nos define sino que tenemos una madeja de hilos que se desenvuelven conforme vamos creciendo. Tal vez algunos unidos a vidas pasadas, a amistadas muy fuertes, a sucesos que nos marcaron o incluso a nuestras pasiones. Por lo tanto, nosotros los vamos destejiendo y tejiendo según nuestras elecciones y nuestras acciones.

Esta sesión es la primera bajo este concepto pero también tendremos otra sesión con dos modelos.

Para la iluminación, se utilizó una velocidad baja con la ayuda de un trípode. Tan solo un flash snoot dirigido hacia el rostro de la modelo.
