Shared threats
The previous photo shoot was focused on the threads that a person has. But it also seemed important, to capture my idea of the connections (threads) that we have with other people.
For example, I like to believe that we have different threads that connect us with friends, family and lovers. I think each thread can get stronger but it could also could break and never be rebuild again. Trust, love, respect, and humor for me could be some of these threads.
Have you ever met someone that you instantly felt a connection with? Is in those cases where I love to think that they are people with whom we had very strong threads in another life, and despite meeting in another one, those threads have not been broken. Maybe is just me being too crazy about it, but is not nice to have some believes?
For lighting set, a low speed was used with the help of a tripod. Just a snoot flash directed at the model's face. The low speed helped to capture more intensity in the led lights which wrap the models bodies.
La anterior sesión de fotos estuve centrada en los hilos que una persona tiene con ella misma. Pero también me parecía importante plasmar mi idea de las conexiones que tenemos con otras personas.
Por ejemplo, me gusta crear que tenemos diferentes hilos que nos conectan con amigos, familia y amores. Creo que cada hilo se puede hacer super fuerte pero también podría romperse y nunca más reconstruirse. Para darles algunos ejemplos, algunos hilos podrían ser la confianza, el amor, el respeto y el humor.
No les ha pasado que con una persona desconocida sienten que ya las conocían desde antes. Que tienen una conexión que se nota y hasta en algunos momentos es como si la pudieras tocar. Son en esos momentos en los que me encanta pensar que son personas con las que tuvimos unos hilos muy fuertes en otra vida, y a pesar de encontrarse en alguna otra, esos hilos no se han roto. Tal vez les parezca muy loco y absurdo pero acaso no se siente bien tener algunas creencias?
Para la iluminación utilizamos una apertura baja con ayuda de un tripode. También utilizamos un snoot flash para tener una luz directa hacia el rostro o cerca a este. Y se utilizó una larga exposición para poder capturar la intensidad de las luces led que envuelven a las modelos.
