Skin projections
The skin is our natural shield, that element that runs throughout our body and covers a total surface between 1.5 to 2 Ms, depending on the height of the person.
This can become our camouflage with a game of lights, turning us into anything that we want. Also, using textures we could transmit how bad are we broken on the inside.
This project symbolises how much we can transmit with our skin, although I didn’t focus on one idea, I’m playing with different textures projected on many bodies of various sizes. For these photographs we only needed a projector, tripod and the images on a laptop.
Nuestra piel es nuestro escudo natural, ese elemento que recorre todo nuestro cuerpo y que supone una superficie total de entre 1,5 ó 2 m2, dependiendo del volumen total de la persona.
Esa misma que solemos cubrir, adornar o inclusive protegerla. Pero esa misma se puede convertir en nuestro camuflaje con un juego de luces podríamos ser cualquier cosa, desde lo más frágil como una hoja hasta lo más fuerte. También, podríamos transmitir con texturas que tan quebrados estamos por dentro.
Este proyecto simboliza que tanto podemos transmitir con nuestra piel, aunque no solo me centro en una idea, voy jugando con las texturas proyectadas en distintos cuerpos con diferentes contexturas. Para estas fotografías solo necesitabamos un proyector, tripode y las fotografías en una laptop.
